I bought this after receiving the little brown keg as a Christmas gift. Worked great for bottling my first batch of American Light beer and Pale Ale as I was learning more about home brewing. Now I use glass bottles with a hand capper, but still keep a few of these bottles around. Great for starting out and also gives you an idea of how your beer is carbonating due to the bottles getting harder to squeeze as a result of the carbonation. Here's one of my Pale Ale's that recently finished conditioning in the PET bottle... cheers.
I bought these bottle as they were a good, reusable choice for my lastest batch of Grasscutter Ale. However, the anti-tamper ring on the included caps wouldn't allow the caps to seat properly, thus allowing liquid to leak out.
I performed a leak test, prior to my actual bottling day, so a quick & easy fix was to simply break off these rings by hand. Not really a big deal, but I would recommend you check yours before putting any of your hard work into the bottles. :)
I'd definitely buy them agin, but will always check the caps for fit prior to use.

These bottles are made of flimsy thin plastic. Not like the ones I originally received with my kit. Says to only reuse 5 times. Advise to get glass bottles...
Bottles are great, easy to use and clean using the rinse free packets. My only complaint, the bottles did not come with notes on the preferred cleaning method for after use (beer has been in the bottle). I placed 1 in my dishwasher and it shrunk to a smaller size (not by much) but noticeable. Though I will be using the no rinse packets before my next bottling, it would have been nice to know the dishwasher may cause the bottles to shrink or what kind of soap will be safe to clean for storage before the next use.
As advertised perfect sized plastic bottles to be a home for your brew! The first batch I made for the Bewitched Amber Ale only filled 11 of the 12 bottles, but I guess that is not the bottle's fault. I like that it was easy to use with the measurements given in the recipe instructions vs. a 12 oz bottle. Great product!
The bottling worked out good but the beer is still carbonating

Easy to use and clean. Great size, you don't have to use a many bottles when bottling your brew. They can be reused as often as you like. Might need to replace caps after a lot of uses.
