Love the look, but scratches easily

I've had this cooktop in my new kitchen for 6 months. I love the sleek look, the expansive cooking surface, and the flexibility in cooking options, and the cooktop is so easy to clean from cooking spills. I am super careful with taking care of it: wiping bottoms of pans (All-Clad) and cooktop before cooking and then cleaning immediately after use. However, the glass scratches so easily. After only one month of use, I noticed slight scratches on the surface burners. I called Bosch, and they so kindly replaced the glass. Now, only 4 months after receiving the new glass top (and heavy holiday use), most of the burners have scratches. I am so disappointed with the way this product holds up. If you are careful, and you are the only one to cook on it, you may be able to avoid scratches, but if you cook in a busy household, you will inevitably end up with many.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So thin easy to use

Wasn’t interested in induction and so glad I went with this unit. Love the bridge for my oversized pots. And the built in timer is amazing! Love this addition to my new kitchen

So Slim and Beautiful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just installed this cooktop in my new kitchen. I love the look. So inconspicuous. No knobs is a plus looks like part of the counter. The unit is so slim my husband was able to save the draw under it. It works amazing so simple. I love the bridge feature for my oversized pots. Love love love this addition to my kitchen!!

Great Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great engineering features! Large burner in center of cooktop which gives exhaust fan great efficiency. Burners adjust automatically to heat setting. Each burner can be set by a timer. Cooktop finish is very easy to clean.

Outstanding features and design!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am amazed at the difference between our old cooktop and our new Bosch. Our previous cook top (not a Bosch) cracked shortly before Thanksgiving! Of course I had 18 people planning to attend and was panic-stricken. We ordered a new top only to find out - after it came - that they sent the wrong one, and the correct one was no longer available. We were able to get our new Bosch in on the day before Thanksgiving. I am truly thankful! I noticed IMMEDIATELY the difference in design and location of the five burners. They are spaced perfectly and the heating and cooking options are superior. BUT, BEST OF ALL, the top itself is far more structurally sound and attractive. The touch controls and locking feature are just what I wanted and needed. My new prized appliance sits right next to my Bosch dishwasher which is the best I've ever owned! Love you people - keep up the good work!
