Need to replace heater/fan. Can't find for this name brand. Yes it heats the wall where mounted to point worried about fire. You can extend wall mount by placing a board behind it. Then mount. Or place on floor, of course it needs to sit on something. Floor brackets like large tv stand, or stone, bricks. Also make a back plane that has curve, so get will go forward. But the you lose the look. But I agree with most, too bad the fan is on top. I also read where some place in fireplace surround yet leave top open. I guess you could put mess wiring in the space needed...hard to find replacement heater.

We bought this about a month ago. We installed it in front of our fireplace. It looks realistic and we are pleased with the way it heats our home. My mother lives with us and she says it keeps her very warm. Also, it was very affordable. I just wish that heat came from the front and not the top.

I RECEIVED THIS AS AN ANNIVERSARY GIFT FROM WORK FOR 15 YEARS OF SERVICE. THE FIREPLACE IS BEAUTIFUL AND PUTS OUT ENOUGH HEAT TO HEAT OUR BEDROOM. I WISH IT DID NOT HAVE TO BE 3 FEET AWAY FROM EVERYTHING BUT I FOUND A PLACE FOR IT.

Great Fireplace

I needed an electric fireplace to replace my gas (formerly wood ) fireplace. I installed yours over the existing fireplace (real easy) and connected it to an existing outlet. had it about 2 months now and am really pleased. We have had some cold weather here in Florida 37 degrees in the morning. It will not heat a room very quickly but more provides background heat. I really like the feature that you can have the flames on but no heat.

I bought this for my office so I have a classy background for my Zoom and Teams meetings. I have had plenty of nice comments. It gives my home office a really wonderful feel. Simple and easy to wall mount.... really! Perfect holiday gift (for yourself!!)
