After receiving the heater, the remote control was very intermittent, and would not work most of the time. The company was great and shipped me a new remote.

Purchased for Christmas gift. Easy installation, approx. 10 min. Once installed, I turned it on using the remote and was amazed how nice it looked and how easy it was to operate.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wall gets too hot

Received the unit last week - installation went fine. The ambiance is nice but the heater portion of the unit gets the wall so hot to touch that I am afraid to use that part. Followed mounting distance directions as noted in the manual.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks so real

I got mine a year ago but did not use it because i had in mind what I wanted to do. I was bummed when I found out you couldn't totally enclose it but figured out a different way that works, I mounted it inside a hutch top that I made into a fireplace mantle. Looks so good. It left it open for heat to get out and looks just like I wanted. I am so happy with the product. So far no issues what so ever.

By the weight, and precision care in boxing this product, one can tell WTL is proud of this Fireplace and they should be!
The hardware for wall mounting is all there, and easy to execute, but the best part is the flames and glowing embers when turned on ... Great ambiance, it also has a heater, love it!
Be sure not to misplace your remote though because there is only an on/off switch on the unit, everything else has to be done on your remote.
