The acrylic is good quality. The motor and blades devour ingredients. Clean up is easy. Saves time. Makes cooking more fun. Helps to eat healthier. Buy it already.
This is my 3rd one and the best so far, although VERY similar to the last one (about 12 yrs. old). The new one is easier to load larger pieces for processing. The bowl pieces seem easier to use although the first try was frustrating as I had to give it a "good" push to lock in - I just did not want to break it. Now that I am use to it, I find it super easy to lock/unlock. I did miss the old plastic dough blade, but had kept mine - even if I may not need to use it. Overall, another quality item that should last years.
We got a Waring FP as a wedding gift and it lasted 40 years. We were heartbroken when the main shaft finally failed. We bought the 14C Cuisinart based on reviews and so far we are very happy with it. It shredded cauliflower and grated Parmesan beautifully.
I am replacing a 40 year old Cuisinart food processor. (Still working) This new model operates the same, so no learning curve! There are a couple of minor improvements which makes it perfect! Love it!
