Your food processor’s are work horses! Whatever I am using it for, like slicing, shredding, making bread dough, pie crusts, chopping nuts, I am never disappointed. Kudos to you for producing an excellent product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanting to give this 3.5 stars… Pros: powerful and quiet motor, sharp blades, large capacity. Cons: 1) top cover has many gaps, can’t mix or blend dry ingredients without making a puffed out mess out of the cup. Make a cover with no gaps or no side slides will fix this. 2) top opening with safety mechanism is very annoyingly inconvenient and small, has to pull it up every time to add I ingredients, open up the cover, or to remove cup. 3) the gap between slicing mechanism and top cover is too wide, large chucks of vegetables get stuck in the space, has to remove it between every piece of veggies that needs to be chopped/ sliced.

For improved performance when processing dry ingredients, try filling the work bowl below the maximum capacity line and pulsing in shorter intervals to help minimize ingredient escape, and when slicing vegetables, trimming larger pieces to fit the feed tube more closely may help reduce food getting caught in the gap. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this processor after weeks of research. America Test Kitchen was my final confirmation and I'm happy I followed their research. The processor has a sturdy base and the controls are right up front and easy to use, no searching. It is also able to store the blades inside the "bowl" so I don't need extra space. My first attempt was a pie dough that came out to perfection! Flaky and perfect (after years of trying). It also grates cheese with ease. My favorite feature is the ease of control, location of pulse button and the heavy, sturdy base.
