I had my first Cuisinart for 40 years, only just now replacing it, and my new one is terrific. The motor is smooth and much quieter. And best of all the new machine is even easier to clean since the parts snap together effortlessly. I love it and recommend it without reservation.

After tossing a cheaper, inferior processor we stepped it up and bought quality. The Cuisinart is super easy to use and clean. The heavy base keeps it in place when using it. Wish we hadn't wasted money and gone with this processor from the beginning!

Cuisinart replaced work bowl since I could not get old one off and on. The plunger part of safety mechanism did not work. New one works better but is still difficult to put on and remove. Perhaps there is a need to change design of this part of work bowl on DCFP14. Thanks for the replacement though.
