My 1980's cuisinart processor needed a new bowl, but still works. I could not find a replacement so i bought a new one. It works just as good as the original, so now lets see if it can last 35 years as well. I'm 78 now. Hmmm. Im seeing a flaw in my plan.
I made the decision to purchase this Cuisinart food processor after using my daughter's machine. It is so well built and sturdy, and even though my daughter's was almost 15 years old it was powerful and got the work done. I had an Oster for years but the Cuisinart is so much easier to use, glad to have finally added this to my kitchen.
I am not thrilled with this food processor. I have found it clumsy to assemble and use. It is heavy and hard to move. It does a fair but definitely not a great job on pureeing. I would not purchase this particular food processor again. I would not recommend it.
I replaced a 40 year old DLC-7 that was tired but still working. I am impressed with the power of the motor in the new machine. The redesign of the feed tube is genius. The bowl is easier to unlock. Overall, I’m very impressed.
