Lets talk about the pros first. The food processor is an excellent chopper and shredder. I have not tried the slicer yet. The cons are why I have given this product 3 stars. The lid is very difficult to secure. I feel like I am going to break it every time I try to lock it on. The bowl is missing a pour spout which my older Cuisinart had. It makes pouring out liquids very difficult. I wish now that I had purchased a different model.

This is my first food processor. I'm pretty happy with it. It's quiet and fast. I purchased an additional blade 8mm in an effort to make larger diced chunks. That blade is working alright but if there were a way to make 1" diced pieces of potatoes and carrots, I'd be happier.

Compared to the 11 cup model... there's really no difference for quantity. The chopping ability in the 14 cup is not as thorough as the 11 cup. The 14 cup model is required to use a larger lid, even for small uses.

I have 3 and 6 cup Cuisinart food processors and have always liked them. I wanted a bigger one to have more power. This one fits my needs. I can make larger batches of some of the recipes I use frequently. It has saved me time and frustration. My husband has always said that you have to have the right tool to do the job well!!! I agree!

Nice, Powerful food processor. Has multiple attchements for slicing, grating and chopping. Pulse button helps when you need a little more cutting, or chopping nuts. Works great! Pleanty of power!!
