It is just a perfect machine. The design is beautiful and the machine functions flawlessly. Cuisinart is a solid, well designed food processor which aside from a few upgrades and improvements is much like it was decades ago. It was perfectly designed back then and has only improved with time.

Good solid well built machine. Recommend the stainless steel model because I saw a cheaper version in a store that was plastic and it was very flimsy. Only gets 4 stars because the tubes in the top are not locking and keep falling out which is an annoyance. I ordered 2 extra blades at the same time because the only reason I bought a new machine to replace my old Cuisinart is because it is next to impossible to order parts for older machines if something breaks or the blade gets dull!

I researched quite a few options before buying this. Actually bought a Ninja that boasted more wattage was not impressed with results. The cuisinart is easy to use, powerful and makes quick work of shredding cheese, slicing veggies and making our favorite hummus. Glad I bought this one.
