I purchased this to replace another Cuisinart that died long ago. Now I am wondering why I let so much time go by without a quality food processor. I have been using it often and it is now a part of my routine. It is powerful yet quiet and it is so fast for preparing a stir fry or slicing fruits nd vegetables.

This new Custom 14 Cup Food Processor replaces the same model that was 25 years old. The old one was still working perfectly - it was just the case where the plastic on the work bowl was no longer holding together and was starting to delaminate. The old one was a work horse and I hope the new one will be the same.

The work bowl lid is challenging and I had to go on line to figure it out. No instructions were included! The processor is otherwise fabulous. I would have liked to have gotten a dough blade included with my purchase.
