I waited quite a while to purchase this and I am loving it. Such a big help in the kitchen! Great for prepping, pie crust, grinding meat and making peanut butter, too. Another plus is that it's easy to clean.
The interlock mechanism is much easier to use than the one on my old KitchenAid. Also, it seems to chop more evenly than my old KitchenAid, however, the bowl walls are thinner and perhaps less robust. All in all it performs beautifully.
After much research, I purchased this 14 cup food processor. I have made homemade butter so far and it worked great! I haven’t had it too long and am looking forward to making doughs, more butter and whatever else comes my way. I really do like it.
We got our first Cuisinart in 1978, used it until 2022. The new one is tough and versatile. We made latkes last night, fast and wonderful. Only problem is, it needs a better opening for large things like potatoes.
