I have had a DC-7 Cuisinart for 30 years = and I love it! But the bowl finally broke. I got a new bowl, but then the top broke. So it greatly pained me to have to buy a new Cuisinart when the old one had a perfectly good motor. But the parts were no longer available. What I like about my new one is that the controls are semi-manual (depress the lever) rather than electronic (press the touchscreen). The plastic seems sturdier than the earlier model. Clever packaging and storage, with the slicing discs being able to be stored within the mixer bowl. Powerful motor, as expected. I guess it was time to get a new one, but I haven't figured out what to do with the old one.
For years I fought with a kitchenaid food processor, cleaning it and using it were a nightmare. This processor resolves all of the issues I had with my kitchenaid and has me using it on a near daily basis
I absolutely love my food processor! My only regret is that I waited too long to get. I have a small family and at first thought, why get such a big food processor. Well I was wrong, it’s really one of the best kitchen gadgets that I have purchased. It works great and it saves so much time when preparing meals. I also feel that the food I make is tastier. Don’t wait, get yours today!
Operates well and smoother than the 20+-year-old Cuisinart food processor that it replaced, and the container feels sturdier than that of its predecessor. However, as as there is no flat lid for this model, I don't use it near as much as I otherwise would.
