Unlike prior machines and from other manufacturers, the blades on this are placed lower so that you can process smaller amounts of food. That is perfect for sauces, pestos, salad dressings, mayonnaise and such that are more liquid than bulk.
I wish the shute was larger to accept veggies closer to their natural shape rather than having to cut them down.
The motor is quite powerful. I’ve already made mushroom soup, frittatas, seafood salad, and chili using this to chop my veggies which makes them cook faster as well.
I also bought the cheese grater because cheese you buy already grated has additives in it.

This is probably my 5th or 6th Cuisinart food processor, my first one was one of the originals as I knew the inventor! It was the answer to a young brides prayers! Every one has been terrific, but machines do wear out when used constantly! This will be my last, you figure out why🤔
