This is my second Cuisinart food processor. My first lasted 25 years and was still working fine, except my one most used blade broke. So this for my second, I replaced my old 10 cup with a new 14 cup processor. It works fantastic, it's strong, the size is a huge upgrade. When I do pull out my Cuisinart I want to make larger recipes and this one handles everything!

After having the Cuisinart DLC-8 food processor since 1981, this larger workhorse of a food processor is a nice step up. The motor was still working great on my old food processor, but the bowl had a crack and Cuisinart was offering a discounted price on the 14 cup food processor that I had been eyeing as my replacement. The new 14 cup model works beautifully, is easier to use the wide feed tube than the earlier model, and easier to clean. It is sleek with a powerful motor, and performs slicing, shredding, and mixing with ease. Cuisinart products are well made and I expect this one to last over 40 years like the first food processor I owned.
