got this for Christmas. I had been using a cheapie one for years but broke the bowl. this one is not that expensive but it's really solid. heavy, sturdy base and much better blades. took me a minute to figure out how to attach them. has big on/off toggle switches in the front. chops and shreds great. I would definitely recommend!

I bought this in the fall of 2017 to replace a Cuisinart I had had for 36 years and gave up only when the work bowl could no longer be held together with duct tape. I loved my old one and now I love this one. I cook a lot and have found that my Cuisinart is indispensable, especially during the holidays. It is a good size, fits on my countertop underneath the cabinets, and cleans easily. The cutting disks store within the work bowl, which is a nice feature.

I bought this model as a replacement for my old DLC-7 Super Pro that I'd had 30 years. I wanted something that would use the blades from my old model, and I am pleased to report that this one works. I might have looked at another model (maybe less expensive) had I not wanted to keep my entire blade collection, but I'm so glad I have this one now. If it works half as well as the old one, it'll be the last food processor I'll ever have to buy!

I've had this unit for several months now and absolutely love it! It works perfectly and is nice and quiet. I've had other processors and they didn't do half as good a job as this unit, couldn't handle larger batches and sounded like freight trains. I saw them using this on Cooks Country and thought it was worth a try so I purchased it. It's one of the best small appliances I've ever purchased.
