I bought this food processor about 3 months ago and have found it to be very useful. I use it often weather it’s grating hard cheese, shredding mozzarella (you need to have these cheese very cold but not frozen when doing so), slicing with the 2mm and 8 mm discs. We use the 8 mm disc to cut slices of potatoes, zucchini, squash, etc. We do not like using the French fry blade on the potatoes because the pieces end up to small. We have made plenty of pizza dough, bread dough and the food processor manages everything really well. It would have been great to have a wider opening and be able to keep the machine on without having to have the plastic pucher cap engaged. It would allow you to slice and shred larger longer items but I guess that may be a safety issue. This really is a great product but you need to have the right blades to do the various tasks around the kitchen. I am a tough critic when it comes to judging item so I rarely give 5 stars because that is a perfect score. I would give this 4 1/2 stars (I wasn’t able to do that when rating) and would definitely recommend it to others.

After owning several food processors, I decided to spend the money and get the one I had always yearned for. I was not disappointed. This is a beautiful machine that I use all the time. That was my concern. Would I use it enough to make the cost reasonable. I also have arthritis in my hands so that was something that could make a difference. No problem here. Do I love it?? The answer is simply a yes.

I had used the commercial version in the kitchens I worked in as a Chef. I had always wanted one at home. Last year my wife bought me one for christmas, 14C model. I use it for everything, shredding cheese, blending tuna salad(first chopping the fresh dill), making pie crust, bread dough. I use it once or twice a week, even to crush the dried egg shells for my garden. I do not have a stand mixer so I use this food processor for just about everything. I love it!

I paid a lot of money for this model and it won’t start. I had an earlier model for 15 years and it was a very reliable. I couldn’t wait to get another one. This model is cheaply made and it won’t start!
