My former processor did not have a blade wide enough to catch all the food on the sides of the bowl. This one does and it makes a huge difference in how well things get mixed without a lot of fuss. I rarely have to scrape down the sides. The additional blade assembly is also easy and efficient.
I am very happy with my purchase. Quiet unit with a very sharp blade that processes much quicker and more uniformly than my 7 cup cuisinart. It must be a more powerful motor. The wide buttons are easy to use. I am getting used to the connecting pieces being in the back rather than in the front like my 7 cup unit.
I have had a couple of full-size food processors by other manufacturers and more than a few mini chops and always come back to Cuisinart for the value and reliability.
Great product! So many features from grating, to slicing, to pulverizing and everything imaginable in between. I love it so much! I used to think if you didn’t hand slice, you were lazy, but not anymore! This will minimize time and change your life! Easy to clean and sleek design.
I purchased this about 3 months ago. I love it! A great help in the kitchen with slicing and dicing...all the way to making pie crusts. Also it’s been very easy to clean.
Just getting used to the counterintuitive set-up! Original Cuisinart from 1970 has all mechanisms facing you; this new one operates opposite the user. It makes no sense!
I have had my Cuisinart 14 cup food processor for 4 months and it has met and exceeded my needed and expectations. I have used the the chopping blade and shredding discs for vegetables.
Grew up using the original Cuisinart. So this isn't my first rodeo.. The bigger sized bowl & blade makes a huge difference! Faster, quieter, better! The feed tube is much much easier to reload too.
