I received the 14cup Cuisinart Food Processor for my birthday a month ago. Prior to that I had a DCL 8 Cuisinart that was over 30 years old and still working great. The new one is more powerful and has a bigger capacity. I use my food processor 3 to 4 times a week. I have been impressed with the quality of Cuisinart products and hope this new one will be the last one I ever need.
I used up my Kitchen Aid processor, and with all due respect,Kitchen Aid make the best stand mixer- BUT as far as food processors go- CUISINART is HANDS DOWN the best!
The only thing missing came in the mail today the Dough Blade. We will try that out tomorrow. We have only had the 14 cup unit for 2 weeks but have used everything that came with the unit. LOVE LOVE this machine.

I wasn't expecting any miracles but I am so impressed just the same. I made bread dough and didn't knead it at all after 1 1/2 minutes of mixing. After washing up the processor by hand and drying it I was done in less time than it takes me to make bread by hand and just washing one bowl and spoon. The bread turned out great but I am going to knead it for a while next time to see if it improves the texture any.
Chopping or pureeing veggies plus washing the processor is still faster than doing everything by hand. So yeh. This is a nice machine to have.
My mobility is limited so the less I have to stand the less pain I am in. I would have bought one years ago when my mobility was normal if the price wasn't equal to a plain-no-bells-and-whistles kitchen stove. With my present physical condition it is more of a life-aid now than a fancy appliance.
