I don’t need extra buttons and gadgets. I just need to chop and blend my ingredients. That’s why I love this processor. Two buttons, On and Off/Pulse. So easy to use and clean!! Highly recommend.
I bought this Cuisinart 14 cup food processor to replace an old one I've had for too long! I knew I wanted one with the heavy metal housing, and not plastic. I read all the reviews I could find and wanted a large one since I cook often for my daughters, son-in-laws, grandchildren and for church gatherings. I could not be anymore pleased or excited after using this processor!! I had read where it was easy on users with severe arthritis and they were 100% correct!! I have already recommended it to several family members and friends! Thank you Cuisinart for a truly high quality and easy to use small kitchen appliance, which are getting harder to find!

I received the Cuisinart as a Christmas gift to replace my old La Machine. After using the Cuisinart, I realized how old and (basically) broken my trusty La Machine was(80's era) . The food processor is so quiet and easy to use. Once I figured out how to assemble it, it made sense. I saw after I put it together there is an online video they suggest, which would make it easier to see before trying it yourself if you are not used to a newer food processor. I bought a blade keeper and will consider other blades now that I realize how versatile it is.
I purchased the 14 cup because it was highly rated on ATK , hoping I could use it for large and small jobs. However, It doesn’t work well for small jobs. Would have purchased a smaller size if I had known that, because I need it for smaller jobs but purchased larger size for when I need it.
I asked for the food processor for Christmas. This replaced my old one that I have had for 44 years. The old one’s blades began to get dull. I have already sliced potatoes beautifully and made a coldslaw with ease. I would recommend it highly.
This was a Xmas gift. It does way more than just chop food, u can make bread, soup, juice, etc.
All that is great but my main usage is to chop food. There r pieces of food that don't process cause it gets stuck btwn the blade & top part. I wish the hole opening was larger to funnel food in cause I still have to cut up some foods in order to then process (i.e. sweet potatoes).
The handle faces fwd but the top part where u put food in sits in the back, would b much easier if they both faced fwd. I pinched my hand the other day & now hava blood blister due to the setup.
The unit is very very heavy.
Because of the opening in the middle, u can't blend much liquid or it will overflow & leak, so making soup is repetitive cause u need to blend multiple times & pour out b4 completing a batch of soup.
My only withhold concerning this product is that it should come with storage for the parts. If the mfg. says don't store all pieces locked down and in place, then it should provide for convenient storage of said parts. Not everyone has a McMansion of a kitchen.
