Very powerful! A few little issues I wish were possible—feeding through tub without pusher and having the feeding tube large enough to feed a whole sweet potato or eggplant without having to “trim” it. Seems a 14 cup processor should have both. But the chopping and making creamy hummus functions are superb and so I am overall happy. I also love the simple but elegant styling.
Worked like a dream. Powerful motor that did the job. We burned out the motor of our last food processor mixing almond paste. This one has the motor to handled everything we put in it. We chose the Cuisinart 14 cup food processor after reading a review by America's Test Kitchen. The selling point was the larger motor.
I’ve had smaller Cuisinart Food Processors before and they’ve worked great but I have to say what I like most about this 14-cup model is the size. Mind you, everything else about it is what I’ve come to appreciate about Cuisinart Food Processors, but the size does make things easier. No spillovers, no doing things in batches, no overprocessing some parts to make sure everything is sufficiently processed.
This food processor works in a logical way, unlike the food processor, also Cuisinart, that I purchased at a local store. Ease of operation is critical for me, because I don't have all day to fool with it.
