This is my first food processor and I LOVE it! Handles everything I throw at it from dog food to ice cream! Smooth and not really very loud when processing. Be advised, it is heavy so put it where you don't have to lift it all the time. Otherwise, a solid workhorse that I highly recommend!

Had to replace our 35+ year old Cuisinart Food Processor only because the plastic feed tube part was cracking. The Custom 14 Cup Processor has a more powerful motor than our old one and works wonderfully. I called my old one my kitchen workhorse and this one is even better. We first purchased a smaller machine at our local membership club store, and returned it after it stalled when I made meatballs and again when I made a single batch of pizza dough. It shredded a pound of carrots for my carrot cake recipe in mere seconds. The Custom 14 handled a double batch of meatballs without even slowing down. I use it so frequently that I wish I had counterspace to just leave it out.

It is so easy to use for everything from grating cheese to making pie crust. I have sliced potatoes for scalloped potatoes and that was easy too. It runs very quietly and all parts are dishwasher safe. I love my new cuisinart food processor!!
