I absolutely love this product! It has simplified my cooking. Note for those who want to use it for dough, if you view the product on Cuisinart's website it'll clearly suggest using the separately purchased dough blade.
I bought this unit to replace an ancient DLC-8 as replacement bowls & tops were just too expensive. The new model works very nicely in all applications and especially when baking with its 14-cup bowl. The only ding I would give is that the redesign of the stem and motor shaft means I can no longer use the 8-disc set of blades that I've used for many years with the DLC-8.
Seems to be a good kitchen appliance. I have only used it once so far. My biggest criticism is that I did not receive any sort of basic Instruction Guide to show how the pieces should fit together. I had to conduct an online search and guess at how things should click together by watching a video on making salsa. Note to Cuisinart: Please look at the instruction sheet included with the Dyson vacuum cleaner for an idea of simple clear line drawings and international instructions. The plastic feels more brittle than the old Sears model. I am hoping it will last as long.
Love how quiet and powerful this is, especially compared to my previous Kitchen Aid processor. The large pusher a plus. Really pleased with this purchase. Trust all the reviews rating this so highly!
Does everything I expected and more. Replaced one I had for 15 years, and I gifted the old one to someone who appreciates it as much as I do. To answer my question in the title, you don't.
Easy to use. I didn’t have any problems with clean up afterwards. This has excellent precision cutting. Purées turn out perfect. I couldn’t be happier! Worth every penny if you’re always improving your culinary skills.
