I don't routinely use food processors and have only used it twice so far. I am a little disappointed the food chute is so narrow. The older Hamilton Beach it is replacing has about twice the opening. Also, with a 14 cup capacity, I assumed it would be able to slice enough apples for two pies without stopping to empty, but it doesn't.

Getting the bowl, cover and pusher assembly all locked in place is hit or miss, usually taking at least 3 tries using different orders: first bowl, then cover, then pusher; first bowl, then pusher, then cover, etc. Once it is assembled, the processor works reasonable well. Our old processor, replaced after many years of use, was much easier to put together and operate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The bowl handle is on the other side of the control buttons. It was not a problem, just different than earlier models.
