I like how it performed the processing of food and how its not too noisy when operating. However the processor blade was dinged at 2 spots which needed to be straightened out. Additionally the slicer needs some sort of safety feature on the blade. The blade is so sharp that I cut myself while washing it.
It's amazingly fast and easy to use. I never thought I would really use a food processor of this caliber but I am now so glad I bought it. Chopping nuts and coconut for truffles, making pie crust, slicing vegetables are all so easy now. I would definitely buy it again.
This is my number 1 can't live without it kitchen tool. Not just great for chopping, slicing, and shredding, it's also my favorite way to make bread dough, pie dough, biscuit dough... even from scratch puff pastry and croissant dough. Nothing works better.
35 years with my old Cuisinart, looking forward to

Giving this a 5 star rating because I am replacing the same model I’ve had since the early 1980’s. The plastic cover on the motor shaft started to split after 35 years of consistent use and rather than pay a very high repair bill, I decided to buy a new machine. I was happy to find this model which uses all the blades and accessories I had accumulated over the years for the old model. No new learning curve. Everything works the same. I like the cosmetic changes on the new model. Looks right at home with my stainless steel appliances
The versatility of this food processor is quite impressive. So far I have made sauces, toppings and doughs of many types. I look forward to many years of fun in my kitchen. The only issue I have is that it did not come with a holder for the slicing/grating blades.
