Ready, set, temp?

Seems to easily overheat. Lower cook temp Settings are just a cook on high, stop, and cook again in high (pulsing). Not true setting. Can adjust to set to specific temperature in degrees (eg 350 F) but not sure how accurate.

Space Saver - Works Well

We chose this microwave because it can also be used as a convection oven. This means that instead of buying a second oven for big events, we can use this oven, and it also can be used every day as a microwave. We also didn’t need to give up counter space for a toaster-oven. The unit works well as both an oven and a microwave. I’ve rated it fewer than five stars because (1) it produces a lot of heat when used as a convection oven, heating up cabinets around it, and (2) the light bulb burned out after less than a year of use and it’s a bit tricky to replace.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great microwave!

Up until I have to buy a replacement microwave I didn't know that dual microwave/conventional oven existed. This is a great idea. . It just save me some Time and energy when having to bake or heat small items. I love this microwave!

Terrible - broke 1 week after the warranty expired

I’ve been disappointed by GE products and this microwave oven continued the trend. It was installed by our builder and one week after the 1-year warranty expired, it broke. It’s been over a year now and we’ve had various issues, the latest of which can’t be fixed and we are now forced to buy a new microwave. Needless to say, we will be going with a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Will never buy GE again...very disappointed with entire kitchen package (GE Cafe series) refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and over the range hood / exhaust fan. Having problems with microwave, refrigerator and exhaust fan. I am done with GE
