Substandard

Poorly constructed. Washer only fills to about 10 inches. Dryer throws lint up inside the door and signals cycle complete before items are dry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn't wash well...

The only setting that seems to wash clothes, well enough for me, is the heavy duty. I even have to wash my delicates on heavy duty. The water level is never high enough to do proper washing. I suggest extremely small loads, with a heavier setting, and warm water, if you want your garments washed well...

Jhoenes, I hate to hear your laundry center is not washing well enough for you. I recently changed over to a low profile agitator (like your laundry center has), and had to learn a new way of loading my washer. Maybe this will help your matter. Add items one at a time, each bunched into its own “ball” to allow beneficial item interaction (page 6 in your Owner’s Manual). Avoid loading laundry in a flat, laid –out fashion (like I learned how to load a washer). In a machine with a low, or no, agitator, plates or discs cause the tub to gently juggle or spin the laundry. Items will be saturated but not covered by water. The unique impeller motion moves clothes through the water, using the motion of clothes against each other to aid in cleaning. Space saving

Our old washer died and we needed the room. We bought this washer/dryer and love it. No more bending over to get clothes out of the dryer. It's quiet and saves water.

I bought this to replace a much older laundry center that we had for many years. It is a good unit that does the job. The capacity is much larger than I expected. On the flip side, it is noisier than my older model and a bit over-engineered. It has lots of sensors and features that should do a better job, but actually over complicate the process of doing a simple load of laundry.

Due to home repairs the laundry room is now way to small, so we purchased the compact model. We are so happy we did! The features are perfect, it gets the job done just fine, quiet and the cycles don't take as long as the older model....and on top of that it saves water and electricity! Super happy with our purchase. thank you for allowing me to participate. Carolyn

I bought this combo washer dryer on June 23rd of this year and am very happy with it.
Previously I had my washer dryer in the basement and after going up and down with laundry I decided on your product.
It fits in a corner of my pantry and looks pretty sharp.
I love this unit!

Perfect Solution for Condos/Apts & it's HE!

We've had the unit for the past month and really love it. Reading the negative reviews and having prior experience with a HE washer, it's apparent people are having a hard time adjusting to new technology: no agitator, different noises, less water. Zero problems w/ us for either washing or drying. We use the recommended detergent. Drying larger loads simply requires adjusting the settings. I really appreciate the deep drums; just need to be careful not to overload.
