Electrolux dishwasher with IQ touch controls

I purchased this dishwasher in July 2014. It runs so quietly, I cannot even tell if I got it turned on without putting my ear to it. When done there is a blue light that shines on the floor, which is great. It has several settings to choose from, easy to load, lots of room and cleans the dishes really well.
The only problem I had was the touch controls not working properly after installed, so the dealer ordered new controls to be installed. This took 2 months to get, so I was not happy about that, but now that it is working again, I love it.

My wife is loving the dishwasher

I like the fact this dishwasher is quiet. My wife loves the way the cutlery stacks, the adjustable top tray and how well it cleans. It also looks good in our kitchen.

We have a difficult time getting the controls to change when we press them. We cannot tell if it will start--nothing lights up, until we close the door.

Does not work as and when installed

I bought a new home and the builder installed this dishwasher. It did not work from day 1. I had to call electrolux to have this fixed and after 3 service calls this was fixed . This machine is not user friendly nor reliable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice dishwasher

Selected this line of dishwasher for our new build. We have a very open layout in which the kitchen island faces the living area. The dishwasher is installed within the island and we are amazed at how quiet it is. Sometimes you can't even tell it's running which is a good thing since it doesn't disrupt us while we're in the living room. We did have a slight hiccup at first because the control panel would not start upon hitting the Start button. The service guy came out and replaced the touch panel and we have not had any problems since. The dishes have been spotless upon completion of cycles. We are pretty happy with our selection. We have only had the dishwasher for about 4 months so we hope it will not fail us. Our last dishwasher was a Bosch so hopefully this one will perform just as well.
