Suggestions for improvements

We like the dishwasher overall. However, now that we have been using it in our opinion we see things that would improve it. The bottom rack has quite a wide grid pattern on the "floor" of it so when the top tray is full and we need to put cups or cereal bowls in the bottom tray they do not sit flat and tip over or go down through the rack. A smaller grid pattern would make it more versatile. Also the upright tines are really close together in the back half of the bottom rack making it difficult to use them for plates. We do like the large silverware basket and there is a lot of height available with each rack. Another problem we have been having is with the detergent cup….at times it does not empty of either the granulated detergent or the tablet detergent. We have tried using both types. We have been taking extra care with watching how the rack is loaded that is near the detergent cup. Most of the time now the detergent is completely washing out of it. But it does seem very sensitive. Also it seems that taking two hours or more to run one load is excessive. Perhaps we should try using the Fast Wash cycle as we do pre-rinse the dishes. Also would be nice to see how much time the cycle will take and how far along it is in the cycle. Thank you.

Over all this is a good machine. Very quiet. The racks seem to be a bit flimsy, however, they function as well as can be expected. We did have a repair issue but that was because of, wait for it, MICE. They ate away at the float device under the machine. So the machine thought it needed to run the drain function continuously. It was replaced without cost. We covered every possible hole and run around the machine and now no problem. Coincidentally we found ways to mouse proof the house and now now problems. So this machine is doubly protected. I am sure this is TMI. But a good story.

Not So Great

Had for 10 months and never really liked. It started not finishing cycles and blinking lights. Called where we purchased, they sent repairman out, he had no clue. Called someone on phone, tried to troubleshoot, said he would order part & be back in a couple days. He also said we could continue using. The dishes are dirty after running and it has been two weeks + & still haven't heard anything. Not Happy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the auto-sensor option - never have to figure out how long to run the dishwasher!

Great product

We just remodeled our kitchen and now have a "built-in" dishwasher for the first time ever. We did have a
portable dishwasher but it was very inconvenient and noisy.
Our new dishwasher is so quiet it is hard to know it is even running. Thanks to the "blue light" though, we can tell when it is finished.

Does not dry very well. You can't hear the chimes on the operation pad. You don't know if the machine is running or not so it gets opened while in cycle. No indication if Jet Dry is out or not.
