Excellent wash results!

This is our second Electrolux dishwasher. It is the EI24ID30Q. Due to owning a prior equivalent model, we can see the improvements and are extrememly pleased with the dishwasher. The only thing slightly negative is that it is a little bit not as quiet as the last model, but is still very quiet. for a dishwasher. The improvements are: The dishes, especially the glassware, come out consistently cleaner. We think is because of the new design of the lower washer arm that covers the washable area much better. Also, the upper arm has a better way of attaching itself to the vertical supply conduit. This is where the upper arm slides into the supply conduit each time the upper basket is slid back in. Thus the water flow is stronger and more reliable. Also the new dishwasher has a special fitting that will shoot a steam of water directly into a glass or bottle if desired. The two main essentials to us are: Do the dishes & glasses come out consistently clean = Yes; Is the dishwasher quiet = Yes.

Amazingly quiet.

We downsized to an open floor plan condo and the fact that this dishwasher is very quiet is an important feature. Also, it has a short wash cycle option. One drawback is the control panel, which while nicely hidden is difficult to engage. One has to attempt it several times to start a chosen cycle.

Nice, sleek design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my dishwasher in May and I love the way it looks with my other stainless appliances! It's very quiet and easy to clean. I did have a problem with the instrument panel and had a technician come and replace a wire, after that it works perfect!!
