Quiet dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great dishwasher...operates quietly, but has a very long normal load. Also works best with liquid detergent, as the powder sometimes does not full dispense is a cycle. Overall very pleased with dishwasher.

Disappointed

We bought this dishwasher a few months ago and thus far have been disappointed. We gave it many opportunities to prove us wrong. We can up with many excuses...over the months we owned it...we’ve had the installer out twice, an electrician and a plumber. We have followed the manels instructions if operation. The dishes and pots and pans are hardly ever dry. And the cleanliness is questionable too. We are not happy with this purchase
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked very well for ~3 years, now stops and beeps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in 2015 and it has worked great until the last few weeks. It began to stop and beep after completing most of the cycle. We had to open it, hit a button, and close it for it to restart. Sometimes we had to repeat this multiple times before it would finally finish. This week it finally gave up and would not stop beeping until I disconnected it. The repair guy (local) seemed to have no idea. After looking at it for less than a minute and mashing buttons, he said it was the touchpad. I have my doubts, but we'll see. We only use it once or twice a week, and take very good care of our appliances, so I am disappointed that it didn't even last 3 years without issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features & ease of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dishwasher a few weeks ago and IT IS AMAZING! I cannot hear it running at all, it's soooo quiet. The controls are hidden from the kids which is great, and are also sensitive to touch, so no need to press down hard on the control panel. I lOVE the fact that I can fold down the rack in certain areas on top AND bottom, to make room for bigger items if necessary. I also LOVE the stemware holders for wine glasses (and the soft inserts for stemware which were given to us by our appliance dealer!) I will NEVER not buy Electrolux again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A floor model that was a great price and does a good job of cleaning once we figured out the controls. It didn't have a manual so I downloaded one from Electrolux. The touch controls are a little difficult to use. You have to have total quiet to hear the start control when touched since it doesn't have a pilot light.

Water spots on glasses touch points are not responsive...bad product. I have no idea WHY the builder chose this brand of all the great appliance...WHY!!

If your dishes are coming out streaked, that indicates that a rinse aid may be needed or you may have hard water. We would also recommend cleaning your dishwasher by, running an empty cycle with the PowerPlus or Heavy Cycle and Sanitize Option or by pouring 1 cup of white vinegar directly into the tub and run an empty cycle.
