So Quiet!

Best Dishwasher we have ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had many dishwashers over 40+ years. Some of them we bought because of the brand name. Rarely did that work out. I didn't know anything about Electrolux except for their vacuum We have had two of those.) While our dishwasher has a few quirks that took some time for us to them, all the extras and the cleaning ability far outweigh the little quirks. The LED lights inside, the silverware rack on the third level, the layout of the dish level, the bottle washers, and most of all..... the quiet. Sometimes when I am watching TV I have to check to make sure it is on it is so quiet. AND, it does a great job cleaning.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I now wash by hand!

This dishwasher has been nothing but problems from day one. I have to wash dishes twice most of the time. I use the recomended products but my dishes are never clean. I even rinse my dishes before putting them in the dish washer. My kids constantly complain about the smell of the dishes from the dish washer and this is after they have been washed. Worst appliance we ever bought and should have been top of the line appliance. I am now washing by hand.

Oh no! KrisGib, I have some tips that may help keep your hands out of the dishwater. The incoming water temperature should be at least 120°F for efficient cleaning and drying. Before starting a cycle, please run the water in the sink until it is hot, to clear cool water from the pipes. Make sure you are using rinse aid, you can even increase the amount dispensed to help with drying (page 15 in your Owner’s Manual has the instructions). Some plastics may need to be towel dried as they don’t get as hot as metal or glass, so more water collects. If you are on a well or have a reverse osmosis system, your home water pressure may be too low. For optimum performance, water pressure should be 20 to 120 PSI (pounds per square inch). To help with smells, please consult page 17 in your Owner’s Manual for instructions on cleaning the filters. Dead after 3 years

Bought Brand new, paid lots of money but disappointed after 3 years and fairly low utilization (every 3 days). Nice looking unit. Dishes stack up well and very quite while doing a good job at getting dishes clean. However, the dishes were never thourougly dry even on the Max Dry cycle and using brand name rinse aid. Recently, the unit began leaking and displaying fault code i30. Appliance repair company changed water inlet valve, and control board. Problem persisted and verdict was that the unit was not repairable. Huge disappointment and will not replace with same brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Elite Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This creature has stuff I didn't even know I needed. The features of being able to adjust the middle tray, having a 3rd tray, the padding on rows to hold various dishes, collapsible tongs, additional hoses for long glasses/cups/bottles, and it's whisper quiet. I literally had to turn everything off and put my ear to it to hear it. Installation was a breeze as well. I'm about 1 month in on this purchase, I'll try to update in time.

Quiet but too quiet...

Not really a dishwasher person overall so bought this to match the rest of appliances. The buttons are on the top of dishwasher door which I like but it's hard to push them. They are supposed to be like a screen touch button but it takes multiple times to push it. The start button is also on top so when u push it, dishwasher doesn't start until the door is closed. And when it starts, it's so quiet that you don't know if it's going. I think it it had some sort of light to let us know it's going, it would be better. Also, if u open the door in the middle of wash cycle, it kind of stalls and doesn't let u continue or restart for some time.

Great Purchase

This Electrolux Dishwasher is so superior to the Bash I had. Better quality, dishes and glasses are cleaner, better built, doesn't smell like the bash did. The design and layout for the dishes and the large basket for silverware, the top tray for long utensils and a large flat items is wonderful and I love the blue light that shines on the kitchen floor to let me know that it has completed the cycle as the washer is so quiet you can't tell it is washing. But best of all is my family has even remarked how much cleaner and clearer the dishes and glasses are. I am thrilled with my purchase.

Worst dishwasher ever!

I bought this dishwasher 9 months ago and have had problem since I got it.. The dishes never come out clean even though I put them in completely cleared. The soap dispenser has broken 2 times, the control panel has been replaced once already, we are waiting for a second time now, because it doesn't function properly and gives random error messages. Within the first 3 months, it died completely and we were left without a dishwasher for 3 weeks while the "parts" came in. I have several other Electrolux items in my home, all of which I love. But, I would never recommend this to anyone ever!
