Never again!

This is my second Electrolux dishwasher in 3 years this month. This one has many of the same problems. For what it cost and the brand name, you would think it would last and live up to its name. You shouldn't have to buy extended warranties, but thank goodness I did. Right after the first year my first one was declared not fixable. So Electrolux #2. That first year is up Nov. 19, already 3/4 repair visits. I do not recommend this brand to anyone and I've had people ask especially when they see my remodeled kitchen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Major disappointment

You dishwasher is totally unreliable less than a year old and the unit will not work. I will spend the rest of my entire life telling people what not to buy!!!!

Fantastic Dishwasher

I love this dishwasher, great features and design. This is a well thought out product, the third rack for utensils is a great use of space. The rubber grips are great to keep things in place. The fold down tines on the bottom rack are great for larger items to fit securely. Dishes come out crystal clean! Definitely recommend this model to anyone!

Quiet but ineffective

Bought this over the summer and have followed the manual step by step. I am constantly having to reward dishes. I cannot load it anywhere near the capacity shown in the manual and get clean dishes. I basically wash them before I load them. I am so disappointed. I have an Electrolux stove and LOVE it. I HATE this dishwasher.

Huge disappointments

I want my old dishwasher back! The dry feature doesn't work. Water drips down the front leaving the stainless front constantly messy. The bottom tray doesn't slide in and out right.

Great but main bus fried early

It's a great washer. We like the look. Cleans very well and the hidden controls are a nice touch. The utensil rack has openings on the sides so utensils often fall through the rack. After 3 months, the main electrical system shorted out. We are looking forward to our working again.

After 6 months

I bought this and the dishwasher does not dry as good as the 20 year old one I have in the home. There is water left on all the dishes after it runs. It has locked up many times and I have to go to the main breaker and shut off all power to get it reset. Not really satisfied with this product.

We would recommend checking a few things before a new service provider is scheduled. Check and make sure the water coming in is at least 120 degrees, do you have heat dry cycle selected, and are you using rinse aid? I realize that as a consumer you feel that these are not reasons for your dishwasher to under-perform. Over the last few years Energy Star has issued stricter standards for water and energy usage which can increases the need for Rinse Aid to dry dishes. –Hope this helps!
