Painful at first

The first one that was delivered leaked from the bottom right corner. I allowed them to replace the door and after that both corners leaked. It was replaced after the repair did not work and has been working smoothly ever since. I was told by the delivery driver it is a common issue with this dishwasher but overall I am happy with it from a performance standpoint.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Needs just a little bit of Tweeking.

I am not one to write a review...ever...but I just wanted to give some good honest feed back. This Dishwasher has a lot of great features--the utensil rack on top, the stainless interior, it's virtually quiet, and other cool things that made me want to buy it. Now that it's been in my house 6 months--am I still happy I made the purchase? Yes, but there are somethings that could definitely be improved. 1. The blue light that appears when the cycle is over is great--but a green or red light that comes on when the dishwasher is running as well is even better (hard to tell if it's running because it's so quiet). 2. The adjustable racks are nice, but more than 2 positions are even better. 3. The control panel at the top is nice, but it is difficult to cancel a programmed cycle, a cancel button that actually cancels is even better (I've had to call customer support to figure out how to cancel a program cycle). 4. Sometimes the dishwasher turns on after just closing the door.

Sparkling Clean Dishes!

I bought this dishwasher a month ago and it has been just what we needed for a large family who entertains a great deal. Glasses come out sparkling with no spots or marks. The third rack for tops and utensils is a great design. Holds many dishes of different shapes that are accommodated with movable racks. Excellent Dishwasher!

Not the finest Electrolux creation

I have a washer/dryer set from Electrolux that have been fantastic. I expected this dishwasher to live up to same standards - it has not. On a positive note, it is super quiet (almost too quiet), resulting in family members opening it to place dirty dishes inside right during a cycle! The sleek, no outside controls, appearance was appealing at first but besides a very faint blue light on the floor (which is hard to see during the day) you can't tell when the washer is ready to be emptied. The cycles are also much longer than any dishwasher I've ever had. I do like the 3rd row for utensils and flat items, but the silverware basket isn't practical on the side. It should be across the front. Everyone sets their dirty silverware towards the front of the basket crowding them, and the back is empty because no one wants to pull the whole bottom shelf out each time. I also think it is rediculous that you have to run the hot water in your kitchen faucet before starting the dishwasher. Who remembers that each time!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Never had a dishwasher do such a poor job cleaning dishes. dried gunked on food ends up inside the glasses even.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Also, check that your water heater is set at 120°F (49°C) to get proper water temperature inside the dishwasher. Great Dishwasher!

We have had this Electrolux Dishwasher for several months. It replaced a 10 year old high end Jenn Air Dishwasher that just lost it power to clean thoroughly. Love all the nice features of the dishwasher - 3rd rack, adjustable shelves, top load only wash, AMAZINGLY quiet and variety of cycle options. It is so quiet that I literally have to bend down and put my ear to the front door to hear if it is running. Door stays open in any position you set it too, like when I open it to let it air dry. Very pleased with the product features and quality of the dishwasher!!

Great washer once it gets set up correctly.

We installed the dishwasher in our new kitchen in December 2014, and it died in August 2015 with a error code that indicated a water flood switch had been activated. it wouldn't work at all. Up until then, the washer had given us so-so looking results. Glasses were streaked and spotted (even with Jet Dry), and silverware never looked very clean either. No matter what settings we used (Max Dry, etc). most every piece of plastic (Glad containers) and glasses with indentations in the bottom came out wet.
The repair guy came within three days of my call to Electrolux in August and he fixed not only the flood switch but also a few other small sensor things and since then the dishwasher has been WONDERFUL. No spots, no streaking, things get nice and clean on the 30 minute FAST cycle where before we we're using the heavy duty/Max settings for a 183 minute cycle that still didn't really clean well.
So, if YOU aren't getting the results you expect from this dishwasher, call for a repair man to come and check it out. My Electrolux guy was very knowledgeable, but even with an online repair guide, he needed a three way conference call with Electrolux product support specialists to get things right. It was terrific team work.
