Not as good as our old Asko: such disappointment

I chose this model because of its ability to wash the upper rack separately, since we seem to use more glasses than plates. Disappointing and frustrating that this is the rack that does not clean at all well. Glasses come out looking smudged and smeary (gross). They are easily cleaned by hand, so I know this is not dried-on substance.
Since the other racks deliver cleaner items, I suspect it is a problem mainly of that rack. The glasses are rinsed before being placed in the dishwasher, so aren't even that dirty - especially compared to plates. Using hotter water and more detergent, as suggested in the manual, helps a bit, but is not the solution I desire for glassware. The presence of the suggestion in the manual suggests to me a history of complaints in this line. Our previous dishwasher cleaned glasses (and everything else) well without excessive amounts of detergent or of extra hot water. We do also have soft water (softened) which should also aid in cleaning, by enhancing detergent effectiveness.

Oh no! Glasswasher, I am saddened to hear about your top rack not cleaning well in your new dishwasher. I have a few trouble shooting ideas you can try. If you are using rinse aid (highly recommended), please try increasing the amount dispensed (page 16 in your Owner’s Manual shows how). Always run the water in the sink until it is hot, before starting a cycle (like you do before getting into the shower). If you are on a well or have a reverse osmosis system, the water pressure may not be within the 20-90 psi needed for optimum performance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchase our dishwasher in 10/2016 for its features and to complement other Electrolux appliances in our kitchen. Is a beautiful appliance and easy to install but that what everything ends. The first couple months were good, it cleaned dishes well but never dried the dishes completely even when selecting Hi-Temp Wash, Sanitize and Max-Dry. Now leaves dishes dirty unless we scrub dishes before putting in the dishwasher, leaves soap residue in the soap dispenser and at times leaves dishes with soap on them. We have follow trouble shooting recommendations like cleaning the filter, water to at least 120 degree, recommended Rinse Aid and Soap brand but the issues continue. In couple occasions the IQ-Touch panel start blinking or display an error code with the floor display. I want to love this dishwasher like our other Electrolux appliances but too many inconsistencies.
Things that we like:
It holds a lot of plates more than many other dishwashers, is very quiet, the IQ-Touch Control design is very nice and the floor display letting you know how long will take to finish cleaning is very cool. Rack system customization comes handy for different loads.
Things that we wish were better:
Clean and dry dishes better, the marketing sticker inside the dishwasher to use a glue that can be removed. After 8 month the glue still showing inside the door. The 3rd rack to clean and rinse better. Improve drying system.
Things that we like:
