TERRIBLE DISHWASHER

I bought it more than 1 year ago and I am very unhappy with its performance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Would return if I could. Didn't like Silverware holder - sides are open - silverware falls through when trying to put in, falls to bottom or gets stuck in rack. Do not like lower rack - slots so close together, it is hard to get plates in and doesn't allow room for any other type dishes. Do not like that controls are so sensitive that the slightest wave will change settings or turn on dishwasher without you knowing its on. Do not like that the delayed setting is always activated because of sensitive touch, so I have to make sure it is off every time I turn on my dishwasher. Did not like the fact that if I accidentally touch wrong setting and it starts, the cancel button does not drain washer in dishwasher, you have to touch fast wash, then once you hear water drain, you need to cancel immediately.Do not like that the second rack sticks out further than bottom rack. This makes it more difficult to load. Finally, I have had repair person out three time due replace door hinges due to difficult in closing and load noise that it made, plus they had to come back and secure dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So quiet!!!

A year has gone by and I love this machine. Its so quiet and my dishes and glasses are spotless. Sometimes I have to put my head to the door to hear if I put it on or not.

Quiet Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the dish washer about. a month and am happy with it. It does have a different drying system that takes some getting used to to get it to dry completely. We had to turn up the hot water heater to 120 degrees and to start using a rinse aid, which we hadn't used before and then open the door at the end of the drying cycle. Doing these things works and the dishes are dry. The dish washer has a third top rack that holds cutlery which we like. The spacing of the tines on the third rack is narrower than we would prefer. Like any new dish washer, finding the best way to load it takes some effort. The silverware rack is longer than I would prefer. It would be better if it came apart in about three sections so extra room could be made available along one side for larger pans like frying pans. It also has a much longer wash and dry cycle than I am used to. On the normal setting with max dry it takes up to three hours to complete the washing and drying cycle. No dish washer is perfect, but overall I am happy with this one, particularly because it is so quiet.

I bought this dishwasher about a year ago and I have to prewash dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. And they still come out dirty!!!! I wish i had not purchased this dishwasher!

I regret to hear of your dissatisfaction with the dishwasher, COLMOR. I have some suggestions for your cleaning challenge with the dishwasher. The “sweet” spot for water temperature is between 120-125 degrees (at the water heater) for the best cleaning and drying potential. Always run the water in the sink until it is hot (like you do before getting in the shower). Don’t forget to use rinse aid, and clean the filters regularly (page 17 in your Owner’s Manual). Finally, is the heater (inside on the bottom of the dishwasher) covered by a heavy mineral or calcium scale (looks like white spots on the heater)? If it is, start a cycle with no dishes in it. Once it has finished the initial fill, add 1 cup of white vinegar to the bottom and let it finish the cycle.
