I have not had a new dishwasher in 20 years. Since we were building a new house I wanted to get the best I could since this would be our final one.
We owned a kitchen aid for 20 years with never a problem. I was careful with pre rinsing and keeping the inside clean.

I found a lot of good online reviews for Electrolux so I went and checked it out and found a model I liked. I liked it before bought it, but I love it after we have used it.
The third rack is wonderful for all the long utensils and lids. I was surprised there was a light when I opened it up the first time but its very helpful. The feature of showing a blue light on the floor when its finished running is great, I don't have to wonder whether its complete or not. The dished come out so clean and I am not as careful with pre rinsing. the only improvement I would like to see is the run cycle times are long, even the eco setting. I would buy this again without hesitation.

Squeaky Clean

I love to cook and am not fond of washing dishes, pots/pans or the accessories that are needed to create my meals! Love this dishwasher and it's many features. It's amazing how much will fit inside compared to my old one. Love that the racks have adjustable holders that can be placed flat if needed! And I really like the very top rack that can be used to place those big utensils instead of using the silverware holder. Customizing my cycles is a plus too. Each and every load comes out squeaky clean, every time!

Poor Quality

Extremely disappointed. Worked fine for about a month and then shut down in the middle of a cycle. Had a repair guy come out and he had trouble identifying the part(s) he needed. Came back a week later still with no parts, and took the dishwasher. Another week has gone by and the repair shop has informed me the parts are on back order from Electrolux. I have family showing up to stay for a week and I'll be stuck hand washing everything. Can't believe the thing broke in just 1 one month. Sounds like there is a an issue with these washers if they have a part on back order for such a new dishwasher model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Electrolux has redeemed itself

This model replaced an older similar model that worked well but was short lived. The new model seems to have listened to the voice of the customer because it addressed all the cons of its predecessor and added several new features. Incredibly quiet, easy to operate, can place plastic on all rack levels, has a special utensil small misc items rack above the top rack which is a home run. Lots of ways to position those odd ball items without worrying they will move around. Three spray levels and much more. Did I mention it looks fantastic too? Anyway, I am happy to provide a review when it seems as though Electrolux actually listened to the consumer and acted accordingly. Great job! Highly recommend this model.

Quiet!

Our kitchen and den are open concept. Our previous dishwasher was so loud we couldn't turn it on when we were watching TV or had guests. This unit is so quiet we have to put our ears up to it to see if it's running. I love all of the special features--- shelf movement, upper utensil rack, bottle scrubbers, wine glass holders, etc. Our only issue is that if we close the door between washing needs, it turns itself on and runs a cycle. We don't know how to "Clear" the user panel.

Great Dishwasher

Spent a little extra for a quiet machine with a lot of features. This machine has really lived up to it's promise. You can hardly hear it running, does a great job cleaning dishes and has some really great features such as the blue light that shines on the floor when the cycle is over. Really pleased with this dishwasher.

Not a great dishwasher

Bought this dishwasher about 6 weeks ago and it's definitely been a challenge. The control panel seems to have a mind of its own. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. And it rarely seems to get the dishes dry.

Looks pretty, but hard to live with

I ran the machine three times yesterday and still bits of food and grit stuck to dishes. Bottom rack jumps off the track, especially when full. Top rack rough to open and close. Dishes are never dry. Bits of food clog the rotating spray head. Control panel is touchy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
