Dishwasher That Doesn't Drain Completely

We purchased a new Lennar home a couple of months ago and have had issues with the Electrolux dishwasher completely draining. We found out just how serious this can be when we went on vacation and returned home to a kitchen with a horrible stanching smell. Apparently the dishwasher leave about three inches of water in the bottom of the unit even though the cycle is complete. A service technician came to look at the dishwasher and left us with the advice that once the unit is finished its cycle we will then need to use Quickstart Option, close the door, listen for the receptacle to drain completely, open the door, hit cancel until the unit lights up at 1 minute and then close the door again and listen for the final drainage. I am sorry but if this unit has been designed this way then it is totally unacceptable! If it is not designed to hold water in the bottom then I would like a new one or someone to come and fix this properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Large capacity. Multiple racks. Good Cleaning

Bought this dishwasher about three months ago. Love the large capacity, multiple racks and very good cleaning ability. Not so happy with the controls. They certainly work, but seem to get stuck on a setting. As I said I love the large capacity, but it come with a price. The door opens very low and if you are careful you can trip over it when open.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Worst Appliance Ever!

Total waste of money. Doesn't clean well, the front was dented, the electronics began to falter after three months, it has a terrible smell. I believe we got a lemon! The store where we purchased it is taking it back and I get to pick out a different brand. Hurray!

Unable to use

This dishwasher was installed in my home in May of 2016. It ran one time. The computer has to be replaced it is now August 11th of 2016 and I still have not been able to use it. It seems to be a very expensive drying rack at this time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this dishwasher 2 months ago. I finally like it after I have gotten the hang of it.
It's very quiet which is great.
Would be good to know when it's working by just having an exterior light indicating such thing. Some other brands have a light reflected on the floor. This one only shows when the load is done.
