Quiet but not practical

Doesn't dry dishes well. Silverware and items on upper racks don't get clean. Always a few items that have to be re-washed. Stemware racks are useless for anything other than a short champagne flute. Has many features and options, but fails at the basics. For the price it should at least get those right.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet and Efficient Dishwasher

This dishwasher is pretty good. My dishes come out clean and dry. You need to use a rinse agent like Jet Dry since this is not the old school heated metal element in the bottom, but condensation drying. My big complaints are the following items.
After a cycle, I find that the handles on the racks press against the inner door, and seem to trap a lot of moisture and a little bit of not the cleanest of water, which is kind of gross when you open it, and it runs down the inside of the door.
Also, sliding in the lower rack isn't perfect, the sides of it seem to catch the rubber gasket on the side, requiring either a hard push to flex the gasket out of the way, or a wiggle to get around it.

Lots of bells and whistles!

I purchsed this dishwasher a month ago. It has a real sleek mininal look. I love the lights inside and endless wash and dry choices. The top utensil tray is a great feature.
My only complaint is it does not dry the dishes completely. I use jet dry, I have adjusted the amount it dispenses. Also use max dry and I still have to dry some of the dishes.

Good Afternoon Gail- I would recommend checking that your water heater is set at 120°F (49°C) to get proper water temperature inside the dishwasher. Also check the incoming water temperature to be sure it is not less than 120°F (49°C) at the sink closest to the dishwasher.
You may want to double check the way you are loading your dishes; avoid nesting items. Water can accumulate when the items are too close together. Cups, glasses, and bowls with a concave (recessed) bottom will collect water. Plastic items may need to be towel dried. This is because plastic does not retain heat, resulting in poor water evaporation from the item. This is common in all dishwashers. When the upper rack is pulled out first residual water left in the spray arm can drip down on the dishes. Pull out the lower rack first. Most quiet dishwasher ever!

My new Electrolux is the best dishwasher I've ever owned! It's so quiet I have to hold my ear to door to find out if it's actually running! It also cleans dishes well and totally utility drawer at top for larger utensils!

Best Machine Ever

Love this machine and please that we purchased it. I have no negatives to report on it so far. I must be good if you have a light that shines on the floor to allow you to know the cycle is over. Love having the inside light and the third rack on top. Would I/we recommend this, absolutely.

Good design, functionality OK

The salesperson told us that the new higher efficiency dishwashers would not work as well as our old one and he was in fact telling the truth. The engineers who designed this dishwasher put a lot of thought into the design: with a third top rack, spaces to rinse water bottles, stemware clips, etc. It is also incredibly quiet. But I think that the racks were maid for daintier dishes than we have - thin little English pieces of china or Corelleware. We have Pottery Barn dishes which are thicker and when the dishwasher is full, it doesn't perform very well. Sometimes the soap dispenser doesn't open and then the little cube of soap is still stuck in there and the dishes aren't that clean. I cannot figure out why this is happening, but I am not thrilled with this purchase. I have really liked the other electrolux items that I have, but this is just average.

stylish, sleek, and professional quality and looks

I bought this about a month ago and still waiting to put it to good use. I had to call and order install kit from Electrolux because my unit was the last one on display and the kit was not in the unit. Great customer service and quick to ship out the parts at no charge. I bought the until for the features and extras at a great price...
