Very Quiet

It's very quiet. The 30 minute cycle is great when we forget to run it earlier. But for the price that's all. We had ours replaced less than two months after purchase because the control panel stopped working. Even the replacement freezes and we have to turn off the circuit breaker to reset it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Superbly quiet with exceptional cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using our new Electrolux dishwasher for over a month now, with ample time to evaluate cleaning ability over a number of load conditions. First off, we're impressed by the dishwasher's quietness. At times, even when standing adjacent to the unit, you can hardly hear it run.
The loading racks offer real versatility and if you've never had a dishwasher with fold-down tines, you really can't understand what a convenience this is, especially for larger pots and items. The interior light is a real help, too, as it eliminates shadows and makes loading much easier.
As for cleaning performance, we're impressed that the dishwasher is able to tackle most any load. Everything comes out clean with no deposition. We were at first concerned about the lack of a soft-food disposer -- which newer, energy efficient units lack -- but after many loads, the filters do not show signs of needing cleaned. I understand from the sales rep that units without soft-food disposers are quieter, too, and learned that nearly all new dishwashers are designed to this "European" standard.
The condensation drying system works well, and except for a few cups with concave bottoms, everything drys well and we've not had to towel any load after a cycle. I suspect that many people that complain about poor drying with condensation drying dishwashers open the door before the cycle fully completes.
Overall, we're really pleased to have selected this Electrolux dishwasher. We evaluated many brands, read many online reviews and believe this product offered the most features and performance at a competitive price.

Too Touchy Dishwasher

Ran it one time and had to replace the mother board. I heard from the repairman that this happens a lot. Do not like that the door shuts and the dishwasher turns on automatically, and then didn't finish the cycle. The primary component replaced, it is working better now, but still the door is so sensitive, that can't trust if my kid opens and shuts it that the washer doesn't turn on.

controls for diswasher badly placed

I love the look of my new Electrolux dishwasher and it cleans very well, but I cannot close the door after inserting dishes without accidently starting the wash cycle. The slightest touch on the top of the door as you lower or raise it changes the setting and as the door closes, unwanted cycles begin. It is super annoying.

Very good performance overall. A few minor issues.
The front panel makes it very easy to hit buttons by mistake, we have to lock the panel after each cycle or we accidently turn it on every time we open it. The sound and display feedback from the panel is not very clear, we're not sure if our inputs were correctly registered or not. The bottom rack tends to fall off its track when pulled out nearly all the way and takes some fiddling to get back on.

Really Great Dishwasher -- Very Happy

We've had our Electrolux unit for about 3 months now and we are extremely happy with the unit. I installed myself and it was straightforward and simple. The unit is extremely quiet and I have had to open it up a couple of times to make sure it was running. The build quality is really nice,,,the filter on the bottom to clean is easy to get out and reinstall. We are very satisfied with how the unit cleans. Just a couple of negatives...and believe me they are quite minor...the racks don't slide as smooth as I would have hoped and the unit leaves some water on plastic items (tops of cups, bowls). Like I said, minor issue that really does not affect my rating of excellent. I would definetly buy this unit again.

my only complaint about this washer is the inability to stand wineglasses up for washing. It does not dry fully, but none of the other stainless dishwashers do either
