Great product

Bought this to replace the old Chamberlain opener that was in the house when we moved in. Pretty sure it was late 70's vintage! Installation was pretty straightforward. Some really nice features, and super, SUPER quiet. Quietest door opener I have ever heard. Easy to program and adjust also. More features than I will probably use. Really like the battery backup, although they recommend replacing battery every 2 years at most.
Pros: battery backup, easy to install, Packaged Well, quiet, reliable, Sturdy, Stylish
Cons: lots of plastic parts!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just installed a B730 as a replacement for a genie screw drive. The B730 is amazingly quiet and operates remotely from a good distance. The unit is new, so we have little experience in longevity but everything claimed in the ads and reviews is working and the warranty is quite extensive. I believe we will be very satisfied.
Pros: battery backup, quiet, Sturdy
Cons: owners manual could be improved.

Difficult Device

Installed in 2015 on my shop door. The opener fails to operate after being disconnected from power and then re-connected. Restoring to operation is very difficult. It is in failed mode right now and I have been unable to return it to service.
Cons: this device needs to be simplified.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
