I bought this to prepare for the upcoming fire season. My husband is sensitive to background noise and was worried it would be too loud but it runs nice and quiet. Personally, I wish it took up less space because it's not particularly attractive. But if it works wonders filtering out wildfire smoke, I'll come back and bump my rating up to 5 stars.

The low setting is so low that I literally can’t hear it when I’m working with my patients. Wonderful. There is quite a jump between the low setting and the second setting. The second is more like the third, So that’s a little noisy for my 11 x 11 office. But I think it will be satisfactory for my purposes.
