This unit does a great job of filtering but it can't be placed against the wall beause the air intake is in the back and the exhaust is out the top. So we use it turned backwards, which doesn't look so great. Purchased the additional dual filter since there is a lot of smoke in northern california where we live. The filtration is great... looks not so much.

HAVE TO DOWNLOAD AN APP JUST TO USE

HOW IRRITATING TO SPEND TIME READING MANUALS AND DOWNLOADING APPS JUST TO TURN ON A LOUSY APPLIANCE! NO ON/OFF SWITCH; MUST CONNECT TO WIFI. I GUESS IF MY PHONE DIES OR GETS LOST I CAN'T USE MY APPLIANCE. HOW CONVENIENT.

You do not need to use the App to operate the unit. The middle button will turn the unit on, setting it on the first and lowest fan speed. Pressing the same middle button again turns the fan speed up to the second level. Doing so again will put the unit on the 3rd fan speed and hitting the middle button again will turn the unit off. There is no On/Off button per se.

I bought this unit about a month ago and my nighttime allergies are all but gone, I can't believe what a difference it makes in the air quality in my bedroom. I am seriously considering putting these in every main room in my house. Thank you Blue Air!

I purchased the Classic 2015 because I suffer from chronic sinusitis especially in the winter months. The unit also is very quiet and placed in my bedroom. This unit has helped me so much and I'm getting better sleep at night.
