great basic printer

My first printer was an Epson, I loved it, still have it, but the ink bills are too high. SO I bought a another brand. What a disaster, it had too many bells and whistles, was a resource hog and the instructions were poor to impossible.
My new Epson XP400 is the perfect basic printer.
I do not mind the noise level when printing. The footprint is perfect for a small space. The instructions were clear, concise and perfect. I have already recommended this printer to a friend.

Couldn't print from my old printer anymore. After two days of trying I purchased a new printer. While in the store, Epson XP-400 was the one for me. It is small and fast and connected to my computer quickly - even my WI-FI. And best of all, it was on sale.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works well... the software is easy to use.
However I am having issues scanning things to my laptop when I use the printer to initiate the scan. Says it lost communication or something (laptop has software installed and is hardwired with a usb)
Would be a 5 start review if that is remedied. Likely it is user error on my part, but I am fairly tech savy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson XP 400 GREAT Small In One!

Purchased this printer as a 'mobile' printer for printing quick photos at events. Easy set up & use, lightweight, quality photographs. Ink is not too expensive; compared to my other photo printers. ONLY negative, it takes three minutes to print a color 4 x 6 print. I haven't checked the amount of time yet on 5 x 7 or 8 x 10. Other than the 'slow' print speed of color photographs, this is a quality little printer!

I installed a desk top & wireless lap top and the whole thing was a piece of cake. The on line video was my ace in the hole. I also made a copy of a important document, can't tell the copy from the original. Good job EPSON. Thanks

Small But Mighty!

This all in one is perfect for home use -- it does the work of larger models with little effort! And having a wireless printer is wonderful, as I can carry my laptop to another area and still print when I need to.

I purchased the Epson XP-400 wireless printer, although reluctant, due to a bad experience with another printer manufacturer a few years back. I have to say this was very easy and only took a few minutes.
