We have always had EPSON printers so when I needed one of my own ... no doubt I bought a EPSON! :)

Ease of Operation

I have found that this all in one has been so easy to install and I can do things such as scan photos to my comp.as well as work from just the xp-400 is so easy.The unit is the "just right unit for all my needs"It is real quite in warm up also and will not sound like it is coming apart like some printers I have owned.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mac Air problems

Excited to get this running with my new Mac Air. I ran into trouble after the disk was installed. It kept asking for a password. I Put in every known password that I have still no luck. It was really frustrating. Finally I just gave up to return printer. How it finally worked was with the wi fi signal. I still don't know how this unexpected miracle happened but it did. It works fine Wi Fi. Now I go to my PC AND TRY THAT. Install disk bingo no problem. I see all the icons on my desktop. However no icons or nothing on my Mac yet it works. Go figure. Jonathan Booke.

Priceless

This is the best affordable printer I've bought my kids use it everyday, for homeworks and for fun activities and coloring things they do it's so easy with wi-fi they just get the phone and send there pages to print and reprint... Priceless fun!!

No option to change color

While the operation of my XP-400 has been pretty admirable over the past two years, the major fault I have found with the design is that there is no way to bypass the color printing to print only in black and white. By this I mean, if one of my color inks is low or expended, I cannot bypass it and print in grayscale, as another printer I have (not an Epson) will do. While I do prefer the ease of operation I have experienced with XP-400, and the seamless manner in which it integrated into my home wireless network, being unable to print documents when I really have need to, because my kid may have printed too many colorful pages means I have to look elsewhere for my printing solutions.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Epson XP400

I have been through many high end printers over the years. I can say without hesitation this was the easiest printer to install.
I had four computers running off this wireless printer within 30 minutes using all Mac Computers. Simply a breeze to install!
Kudos to Epson!!
