Should not have taken as long as it did to install. The fact that it is black made finding ports more difficult than it should have been. However, once it was up and running, the quality of the print in both Black/White and Color was excellent and that is with the initial cartidges that came with it. Additionally, it was exceedingly well packed - to the extent that I had to cut the box apart to remove it!! At one point I tried to call Technical Assistance, but when the telephone was answered, I could not hear anything that was being said and that added to my frustration - most of which has subsided by now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

To say that I was shocked and suprised by the quality, simplicity and cost effectiveness of this printer is an understatement.
I have had many different printers over the past 25 years and I must say that this one is the best.
It doesn't weigh much, the paper is easy to load, prints color pictures the best of any of my printers, easy to change the printer ink, easy to connect to your network, and the ink is cost effective.
Bonus .... I can print from my iPhone, iPad, and android phones.

So far so good. i printed a couple of things and they are crisp and clear and easy to read. No fuzz. At this point I would recommend this product

We were looking to go wireless for our printing needs but didn't want anything big just looking for compact convenience with ease of use, and that's exactly what we got with our Epson XP-400! Easy to setup (on 2 computers, one with Windows XP and the other Windows 7) and within 20 minutes we were printing without a problem!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Scanning

got this home set it up, printer worked fine, but the scanner, whitch is the main reason I got this flat dosn't work. major problem. used disk to down load from, that didn't work so went to Web site down loaded, and still no scanner. looking for a fix, if anyone can help, othwise I'll be returning it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I liked the looks and size. Fits in perfectly with other office stuff.
