USER FRIENDLY...installed easily by computer dummy

Hi There,
Raising four Grandchildren and Home Schooling requires a lot of printing out of worksheets, progress reports and the prized Golden Star Certificate of Completion.
I am not computer savvy, but I must say this product is very USER FRIENDLY! It literally gives you step by step instructions which allowed me, a computer novice, to install it the first go around with no mistakes. This is a first for me. As for the printing quality, the print outs look amazing. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family. By far the easiest installation I have ever done. Thanks Epson for making this product so user friendly.

Teaching an Old Dog New Tricks

By far the best printer we have owned and the price was definitely right!
Great color prints, great copies -- lets you know exactly when you definitely need to install new ink rather than printing poor quality copies.
Easy to follow installation instructions both when we first purchased the printer and now -- when we purchased a new notebook.
Great scanning quality also -- again, easy to follow instructions -- our adult children were impressed we were able to send scanned photos.
This printer is a definite need to print important emails that include information for upcoming meetings, members reports to be read prior to meetings, and typing minutes from meetings that require a hard copy to be saved.
Providing copies of extra information for my students has been easily accomplished -- making the class even more interesting and enjoyable.
Yes, this Epson has definitely been a wise choice -- thanking our local computer store for providing us the chance to purchase this printer.

Epson XP-400 Small-In-One ~~Easy Setup~~

What a great little printer, fine quality, and easy wireless setup. Thought I might need a USB cable initially, but the setup ran smoothly and connected to WiFi quickly. Front display tilts if visually necessary, and has bright, easy to use icons. Print quality is amazing. Affordable, individual print paks can be separately installed for each color. Prints pictures from display and memory card slot as well as from PC. Scans and copies for extra versatility. As usual, Epson has done it again...reliability, creativity, and affordability in a neat little package!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This printer is fast and very reliable. Great for school work, or office. It does everything: scan, copy, and prints. Love it! Most of all it is easy to operate and use which I really appreciate! I am telling all my friends to get one!!!

Setup was a breeze via the usb cable for primary laptop and wifi for additional computers. Print quality is really good and cartridges don't cost a fortune to replace. Also, the print cartridges are sold singly or in combo packs for additional savings. Bought one for my 75 year old Mom to use, too. She loves it. Thanks Epson, great little printer! (Downloaded Epson phone app- one of the easiest and intuitive I've used.)

setup was a disaster

Copying photos is a chore. Got this recommended printer to reproduce our old photos on 4x6 photostock & transfer remotely from my camera & smartphone . So far, the XP 400 has been a severe disappointment, as follows:
Sizing is completely unpredictable: copied my first 4x6 photo at full-, actual-, and various % reduction- sizes before trial & error yielded an acceptable reproduction... wasting much ink & paper in the process.
Setting up the highly-touted LAN & inet printing was patently unsuccessful.
Can't state with authority yet, but ink consumption appears very high, and replacement ink cartridge prices apear excessive.
Looks like this will probably be my 'last resort' alternate printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
