Epson has really come-up to Expectations. Finally a wireless printer that Scans/Prints/Fax's/copy's/Photo's in a sweet looking Attractive box-like printer that is Wi-Fi with a very simple to set up & use Wi-Fi option or a USB direct hook up to the pc.It also is a stand alone printer or you do NOT NEED a PC to operate this fast printer. Epson has also added a feature in the software where you can scan jpegs to Facebook and also has a port for SD/MS duo photos pictures taken by your camera ..with an easy upload feature. Epson also has included a 2 1/2 " color touch screen that has a clear and sharp picture and also Energy Star also onboard as well.

XP-400 Small-in-One Printer

Very pleased with the set-up and operation of the printer. Instructions were easy to follow. A call to the customer service number was necessary regarding the wireless operation and the Epson rep was very courteous and helpful. The only negative on this printer is the cost of the ink cartridges. One set of cartridges is equal to the cost of the printer!
I would recommend this to a friend!

No WIFI

After trying to connect the XP-400 to my Airport Extreme for the past 2.5 hours I have given up. My Airport works flawlessly with all my other wireless devices but the XP refuse to locate it and will not configure manually.
B&W printing is crisp and fast (1 sheet).
Photo printing is fast but slightly blurred.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

gobbles up ink

I have never had to replace so much ink for a printer used for regular home use. It seems that I have to replace it at least once a week. And I don't even use it that often. Even after making the settings for draft. I need to check out other printers, because I am going broke buying ink!

again i thought i was buying something that might last at least for maybe a year or so.but i guessed wrong. first the wireless stopped working which i could live with. but now all it does is chew up the paper.so again i will go out and buy another printer and it wont be an epsoni hope other people are happy with their product.
