So Far So Good

I have had my printer for about a year or less and so far I am very happy with it. It was easy to set up and easy to use. I downloaded the iprint app to my android phone and it prints perfectly even from my phone, sometimes better. Only wish this printer was compatible with the creative print app. Other then that as far as the product itself not one complaint and the price was very fair. Buying ink is simple and cheap. You can buy all 4 or just what you need. Again price is good as long as you don't go to an office supply store.
I would recommend this to a friend!

ink nightmare

This printer worked fine until it was time to change the ink. The black nozzle clogged and now it will not print black ink without blank streaks in it. The head cleaning and nozzle check utility do nothing to help, in fact it makes the streaks worse and uses up all of the ink. Just put in a new cartridge, and after doing cartridge charge, head cleaning, and nozzle checks with still streaky printing, it says the cartridge is empty.
I have owned several ink jet printers and never had a nozzle clog like this.
The copy feature also takes about 5 minutes to scan and print one page.

uses way to much ink. just replace all cartridges, had to clean print head several times, printed one very small amount on one page. Now out of black ink.

Bad Product

This printer will drain your color ink in 2 months even if you never print with color. The printer will not print with black ink if one of the color cartridges is empty. Black ink lasts about 100 full text pages even though advertised as 200. Terrible product.

Not user friendly at all! Printer has now stopped working completely because the heads needed to be cleaned before every print job! Stay away, terrible product.

It was my experience that this printer was extremely easy to set up and to install. The directions provided were simple, clear, and accurate. Following them step-by-step enabled me to remain calm and patient throughout the entire process, especially when using the CD to install the new printer. When I used the printer, it worked just fine, and the copy was most satisfactory.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Uses way too much ink!

Overall, this is a pretty decent printer for the price. But when you add the cost of buying ink ALL THE TIME, it can get pricey. It prints photographs fairly well, but I would not recommend this to someone who needs to print a lot of items in color. It goes through ink FAST. For most of us, that's a huge problem.
