This was a reregistration because we changed from XP to Windows 7.
The copying command has not allowed us to change from photo paper to plain white paper
I use the printer mostly for printing text and scanning. Sheldom for photos.

I think my problem at first was not the printer, but getting used to Windows 8.
After the installation, I downloaded the updated drivers and all the latest software, and found this could be the best printer I've ever had. I've also had other Epson printers in the past and this one I like better.
I tested a few pictures I like to use regularly for quality tests and the prints came out beautiful!
I also like that I can print off of my phone and tablet aside from my laptop.
I highly recommend this printer. Great Price for great quality!

I love the way it looks and prints. It prints fast. The only thing I dislike about it is that it is very loud when it goes to print. Makes alot of noises. I don't know if that's how they all are or not but mine sure does. Also the ink goes very fast. I've printed about 10 black and white pages and the black ink is below half already. Not very big ink cartridges at all. Kinda a down fall also. Good price and it's wifi.

My first xp-400 lasted less than 5 months. I got a replacement and it came with the ink cartridges
empty. I couldn't get this one to work off of wifi.
I will never buy another Epson product.

I just came home with my new Epson color printer XP-400. I was very nervous about setting it up as I am not super computer savvy.
Well my fears were totally ungrounded as I followed the easy to understand, step by step directions and I sit here happily typing this review after printing in black and white and in color from BOTH my computers. One is a PC and one is a MAC and it could not have been any easier!
I am one happy camper! The color is perfect!
